Iron Dominion

Iron Dominion is a strategy game that respects your brain. You manage resources, plan your defenses, and expand across a map dotted with rival factions. What I appreciated is that rushing rarely works; the AI punishes greedy plays, so you learn to think a few turns ahead.

Combat is resolved in short, readable skirmishes where unit types and terrain genuinely change the outcome. There's a real satisfaction in setting up a chokehold defense and watching a much bigger army break against it.

The interface takes an hour to get comfortable with, and the early tutorial could be gentler. Stick with it, though, and it becomes one of the more rewarding strategy titles on mobile.
